I came up through the craft, so I lead from it. Good creative is not decoration. It is judgment, made visible.

I know what a shot costs, what a set of fifty needs to move as one, and why a single color or piece of type either builds trust or quietly erodes it. My job now is to hold that judgment across every brand touchpoint, and to build teams that can carry it without me in the room. That matters more now, not less. AI can generate a thousand options before you finish your coffee, but it cannot tell you which one is true. Knowing what to keep, and why, is the whole job.

Direction starts before the camera.

When a brand needs a foundation, I build the whole system: the glyph, the palette, the type, the iconography, and the rules that keep it coherent long after launch. The PowerSource Summit identity is one example, built so a large event read as a single idea from the stage down to the smallest asset.

I am Tyler Garner, VP of Brand & Creative at Hillpointe, where I lead brand, creative, and the teams that build both.

Hillpointe is reimagining workforce housing across the Sun Belt, and my work there spans brand identity, creative strategy, and creative operations at scale. Before Hillpointe, I spent nearly seventeen years at Full Sail University, building and leading a creative team and telling the story of a vibrant creative community.

I came up through the craft, producing, directing, and designing the work myself before I ever led a team doing it. That path is the whole point. I can set a vision because I know exactly what it takes to build one.

I also take the stage. I speak, keynote, and guest lecture on brand, creative leadership, building creative teams that scale, and using AI in creative work without losing the plot. Planning a conference, a class, or a company event in Orlando, Winter Park, or anywhere else, let's talk.
