This is a video bumper for xoomu, the game and technology news and review site that I created in late 2009. Unfortunately, the site didn’t really last to long due to time and content restraints. But, this piece I did turned out pretty cool.
This is a band logo I did a while back for some friends. The idea behind this logo/branding was to take what the band is, and completely flip that upside down. The band is (was) a heavy-metal band from Northern-Indiana, and after scouring the internet, you can see that just about every metal/hardcore band is branded similarly. Almost always very dark colors along with distorted text (sometimes illegible).
So, in an effort to clearly distinguish ThunderWolf from others, I wanted to take their brand and image in a completely opposite direction. Using a retro feel, bright colors, and accents of imagery that correlate with their name along with a bold text. Check it out!
Using a wide angle lens, this panoramic shot was pieced together in photoshop from 6 different photos.
This is a new personal logo that I created in Adobe Illustrator.
This was an entrepreneurial project that I started in November 2009. The website was designed and developed using the wordpress platform.
Xoomu is an online source for game and technology news and reviews. As the founder of Xoomu, I acted as the owner/CEO, creative director, designer and administrator, where I worked to maintain the content for the website and manage the writers by motivating them to continue developing new, informative, and great content. Gaming and technology are passions of mine, so I also served as a contributing writer for the website.
This is a freelance website that I created for Kristin Weissman, a PR, marketing, and business professional in the Orlando area.
This dragonfly let me get within an inch before flying off. Luckily I had my macro lens with me that day!
Almost walked into this while exploring in a forest. Could have been awful, turned out pretty awesome!
